"Hotel was beautiful and new. Very convenient. Staff helpful and cordial. Just a little reminder at end of stay that we would have appreciated more than two cups and coffee discs. Had to find housekeeper on a few days to get more since we were there for almost a week. Suggested they put more in initially or replenish daily. Only other issue was loud grating noise when pulling sliding bathroom door closed. Appeared to just need some oil! Staff took note of these issues as we checked out and...

"Nicely up-dated room with everything functioning in good order. Front desk helped us extend our stay and provided map with dining recommendations. We breakfasted at House of Bread just across street. Walked or bused from Marsh & Archer into downtown SLO, enjoying Mission, Art Museum, History Ctr, and abundant shopping, plus Thursday night Farmers' Market."

"River Lodge lives up to the hype!! They have thought of everything. The design is gorgeous, the bed is super comfy, and the pool is fantastic. My pup enjoyed her time there, too. With the front yard and grassy areas, it was super easy to have her along for the relaxing weekend."

"The rooms were clean, the staff (especially Martin) accommodating, and the grounds incredibly beautiful. We appreciated the extra touches, such as complementary yoga, wine tastings, and a guitar player for some relaxed sunset time. We loved our oceanfront view and relaxing on the various swings on the property. We'll stay here again."

"Great location! We had a room with an ocean view and balcony. A little noisy because you are in the heart of the town but within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was great especially Molly the cat. Restaurant right next door called Dorn’s Breakers Cafe is excellent! We can’t wait to come back!"
