"I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!"

This is an older hotel that doesn’t have all the updated and most modern conveniences but if it did, it would be twice as expensive and I probably would not have stayed there. "The customer service alone here makes me want to stay here time and time again! Every single staff member I dealt with at the front desk and on the phone was so kind and extremely pleasant to deal with. As a solo traveler, this also gave me a feeling of safety which I truly appreciate. The rooms may be slightly outdated, but was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. The mattress was a bit softer than I prefer, but the A/C ran great and I slept like a baby all night with zero disturbance....

"I am disgusted by the behavior of the general manager who hung up the phone on me. "This is an older motel, so don't expect a 4-star hotel. I've stayed there twice on the last two years, and both times I have had excellent experiences. The building is probably from the 1950-1960 era, and it does show. However, the rooms themselves have everything you would need. Everything is very clean. "We arrived and the hotel had no running water : no working bathroom no showers that worked . They had not had water for 2 days and could not say when it would be turned on again . No one called to notify us or offer a solution upon check in ."
