"I understand if your property is old, but you have to at least to try to make an effort to do some type of upkeep. The first thing we noticed coming into the room was that the security latch was snapped. Did someone force their way into the room? It's a $6.97 item at Walmart. Replace and your guests will feel safe. The deadbolt connecting our room to an adjacent room did not completely lock. Have your handy guy adjust it so your guests can feel safe. The fitting around the sink was moldy and peeled, the caulk all around the tub was also full of mold. The tub drain was rusted, and the stopper rusted and set aside. The small fitting that comes out of the wall and its attached to the showerhead was completely loose, and when the shower head was activated, it leaked water, going inside the drywall, therefore making the floor wet and the corner of the doorframe disintegrate as if a dog had been chewing on it. You cannot tell me that no one in your organization sees this and thinks it's ok. There was black mold on the ceiling! And if things are tough, and the constant upkeep is expensive, then at least try to make an effort to give the appearance of a clean room. There were some rusted screws on top of a chair in the room. The sink was dirty. The toilet was dirty. The bathtub was dirty and full of sand. We went to Walmart across the street to purchase something to disinfect. Checked out earlier - got home and had a roach on luggage. Expedia only gives me 1500 words!"
"The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Didn't see any staff after I checked in but she was nice. Would I stay there again? Absolutely. "
"the hotel was dirty, had no soap, stained sheets, filthy curtains and grounds were were unkept. I had reservations for 2 nights but left after the first night due to condition of the room even though I was going to have to pay for the 2nd night. Was extremely dissapointed as I have always felt comfortable booking a "Wyndham" hotel but instead felt like we were not safe. The hotel staff did not have a professional appearance, they were sloppily dressed, had missing teeth and I would think Wyndham would expect a more professional look to represent their brand."
"The room was old and worn especially the carpet but all in all would have been OK. There were two of us staying in the room and we had two bathtowels, one hand towel and on face cloth. An extra towel would have been helpful but still not the clincher for my rating. The issue was that we had a room marked "storage room" right next to ours (212) and there was noise pretty much the entire night. Talking for about an hour at 1:30 that woke us up and then again the noise and talking started at 4:11am. This went on for three nights! Every night I assumed the people would leave and the noise would stop but it did not appear to be guests. After driving 6 hours to get there and then an hour each way to Tallhassee this was exhausting."
"It's an older hotel so you can't really expect a lot and it's very affordable so again... It's in a safe location. It's clean, the bed is comfortable. Its a simple place to sleep. Whether it be for 1 night or a few days, it's a great affordable option"
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Bainbridge by IHG
8/10 Good
"Room was very “damp” upon arrival but after a few hours of air conditioning, it was better. The breakfast was not well maintained. At 8:30, the stock was getting low and they were out of almost everything. The breakfast attendant does not wear a uniform and looked like a casual guest. I did like the coffee they offered at breakfast as it is served by a grind and brew machine. The room was clean and orderly. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower water pressure was very low so disappointing. Front desk staff was very nice. "
"1st night we asked for an extra wash cloth and towel because there qas only 2 of each in the room, was told they didnt have any. We lefted the next morning to go back into Tallahassee, the reason for our trip. We got back to hotel about 8, dirty towels weren't removed. Husband went to get fresh ones. The lady at the counter stated she couldnt get any clean ones, that they were locked in laundry room and she didnt have a key. I was ok with, stuff happens, Husband was NOT happy. 10 minutes later we get a knock on the door asking which vehicle was ours, i told her and front desk lady said that tshe was told the "Marijuana" smell that was outside was going from our vehicle. I politely told her no, that it was there when we got back and that my husband was a Paramedic and could lose his licenses for that! Exterior doors were slammed the rest of the night into the morning. I went to check out and asked for receipt, no printer paper.
