"We had a really lovely time staying at the Newport Belle. The rooms were really fun, on theme, and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be visiting again!"

"Stay was perfect. Room was clean, bed comfortable, ocean view and sounds amazing, bar/restaurant yummy with lovely atmosphere. Will definitely stay here again!"

"Room was clean and smelled nice. Check in was fast and they offered free coffee, tea and water at all hours, which was great, and a coffee bar (think mini Starbucks) for free at 8a. Views of the ocean were amazing and you can easily walk onto the beach from the hotel. They had breakfast, for a cost, but it didn’t open till 8a (bummer). Close to many good restaurants, there is an Irish Pub a block away."

"The room was very nice everything looks new, carpet, bathroom, furniture and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk person had to answer the phone when we checked in and she even put it on hold to finish with me, very professional and appreciated. Breakfast in the morning good. "

"My 77 year old husband had to haul all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. There are no elevators, no A/C, the TV wasn’t working properly, the shower was mis-labeled H/C, the ceiling fan was unstable and squeaking loudly, there was mold in shower and on bathroom floor, and there were two entrance doors but only one was accessible so we climbed more stairs unnecessarily. Skip this place!"

"The staff, especially Emily and Carrie, were so kind and helpful. They really added to the positive experience. The hotel is older but the rooms don't smell old! The walls are thick so you can't hear what's going on next door! Their prices are fair and they don't gouge you! Amazing sunset views. We would definitely stay here again."

"Brandy at the front desk was very helpful throughout the whole reservation and check-in process. The check-in date on my non-refundable booking with Expedia was incorrect but I didn't know until after I reserved. Brandy and Expedia worked together to adjust the date at no extra charge to me. As for the property, it is under new management so there is remodeling going on. It did not affect my stay but I noted that the lobby was bright and updated with a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean. My...

"It is a nice stay for a night."

"Property is right on the Coast highway. A very old property. It is managed by a WONDERFUL woman. It's a slightly odd, multi-use property, that had been renovated at one time. Our second floor room was huge, contained 2 glorious double beds, t.v., microwave, mini fridge. One overhead light with a fan and a window with no screen. Two working plugs, too! But it was absolutely spotless. The bathroom was soooo clean, plenty of towels and the accouterments- shampoo, conditioner, soape, etc. All...
