"The hotel staff is very friendly and the check in was fast and uncomplicated. Sadly something very unpleasant happened shortly after receiving the keys and arriving in our room. I was getting ready to take a shower than heard knocking on the door. After not more than 3 seconds, the receptionist opened the door and went inside my room. "Positives: really friendly staff - great location for shops, restaurants and sightseeing - reasonable price Negatives: tired and dated - tatty decor and amenities - no air conditioning and very, very hot - limited plug sockets - very odd breakfast, a tray with a croissant, piece of bread, a plain yoghurt, a piece of cheese and some continental meat. "Water didn’t work one morning for 1/2 hr. Staff didn’t know why. We wanted to leave early but couldn’t as no one was able to use the bathroom . We had 2 rooms and neither had water. The night before, water was dribbling out of the shower. We thought maybe multiple people showering in the other units. We stayed 3 nights and the first 2 nights were fine. Bed was very comfort. AC worked well."
