"This is an excellent hotel for visiting Rothenburg. Its location is a minute walk from the Market Square. At check-in, we were greeted by Genghis, who was fantastic and warmly greeted us with a welcome drink and provided helpful information about visiting the town. Breakfast was delicious with many options (we are vegetarian). The hotel is a historic building, in keeping with the charm of Rothenburg. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good shower. "Der Empfang war unkompliziert und freundlich. Das Zimmer sehr sauber. Der Balkon war nicht im besten Zustand. Das Frühstück war perfekt, alles da, was man braucht zum Frühstücken. Der Gasthof war jeden Abend gut besucht, aber das Personal war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisen so typisch bayrisch, einfach super lecker. Leider gibt es zu wenig Parkplätze am Haus. Zum Teil musste man schon weiter weg parken."

Never in my worldwide travels have I encountered a hotel without a receptionist or an attendant. No elevator to access upper floors but a very squeaky winding staircase that is unsafe to descent on with a large and heavy suitcase. Ergo, left mine in car.
