"I stayed here with my family (2 adults, 2 kids) and we enjoyed this lovely property. We did not eat at the on site restaurants. Our room was very tidy and the staff was very helpful in orienting us to the city and assisting with transportation needs. Our windows closed securely but the very old door did not have a weather tight seal. Despite that, the room AC worked fine and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. They were helpful in explaining the routine around checking in after hours and the information to enter the building was very clear, including the videos. "Our rooms were modern and clean - the breakfast fresh, varied and plentiful. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel is walkable to the Vatican Museums and the nearest Metro is just 5 stops to the Spanish Steps and Via Condotti. The location is residential and we felt safe, although it’s not pretty."

"We used the patio eating our meal, the room is small for two people since it’s only one bed ( there’s no available 2 twin beds) The room spray is overpowering that we can’t breathe at night. Maybe it’s the hotel way to keep it smells good. They have to minimize the room spray because it’s very unpleasantly strong scent, to eventually caused you headache. But overall the property is clean, the staffs are friendly and helpful."

"Palazzo Gambirasi is an absolute gem in the heart of Centro Storico. I normally go for branded hotels but found this by chance and couldn’t have been happier. Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing location and a wonderful Rome vibe. Just walk out the door and you’re surrounded by restaurants and within easy walking distance to many classic sites. The room was clean and charming with an exposed rustic wood ceiling. I will definitely return."
