"This is by far one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in, in NZ and the world.. It’s clean, very comfortable and quirky which we love. The staff are so friendly and helpful, shout out to Cathy and the younger lady with dark hair (apologies that I can’t remember her name). The continental breakfast is simple but has something for everyone. The local Whitestone cheeses were excellent. It certainly filled us up. I don’t think we’ll be back to NZ (due to distance) but if we did, we’d definitely stay here again. Needless to say, we’d recommend this hotel 100%, don’t hesitate to book it!! "

"Great location with good parking. Easy to find. Very clean and tidy, Was very warm day and would have been good if windows had been left open during the day so room not so hot on arrival as no aircon unfortunately. Unfortunately road noise travelled thru the bathroom fan (windows double glazed so they worked but not the fan). One of the better motels in Oamaru I think. "

"Wonderful historic building that was once a girl's boarding school. Very quiet location with great walking areas on the property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious chocolates also made on the property. Would highly recommend. "
