"Unfortunately the flicker didn't work for my stove top so had to use a lighter but other than that it was great the kitchen had things to cook and eat with. Also the door to main bedroom isn't lockable so would definately recommend that ."

"Reception was busy, but helpful once the delay was cleared after about 10 mins. Also on two occassions during our stay we tried calling reception unsuccessfully until disconnected. We enjoyed the free wine tasting hour with Kies and cannt recall the Friday night winery, but was also enjoyed. Buffet breakfast was superb, a good selection of fruit, cereals and hot food.(need to update your toasters though,very slow!) "Everything was perfect. The pool is spectacular. The gardens beautiful and tranquil. Cannot fault this retreat. Folk that stay at these places 1. Please be mindful that folk who book into "retreats" don't want to hear your voice 2. Don't want to see or hear your children. 3. Indeed not suitable for children as there are monsters and wolves and other creatures that will steal them away in the night. "

"My room was modern, clean, with a bar fridge and makings for a cuppa, the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. Bathrooms down the squeey old beautiful wooden floor were modern and clean. Overall, a lovely urgent one-night stay. Oh, and the staff were lovely. Only comment: the space under the door could do with a Raven slip to stop the very bright corridor lights at night. "This is a good hotel as far as the rooms go which were very clean and spacious. However, there were a few things that were disappointing. The restaurant is only open from Tuesday to Saturday and never open for breakfast. There is a shopping centre down the road and apparently a coffee shop close by but as I was on a tight schedule this was really inconvenient. Be mindful there's no reception or housekeeping on a Sunday, no big deal if you know but I did not. If your stay is a leisurely one then...
