Rented 2 rooms & 1 reeked of cigarette smoke. We told receptionist and she sprayed room with air freshener. There were only 2 towels in each room. Internal/external phones didn’t work. Office staff had puppy that peed on floor. We met kids/grandkids for spring break & we picked hotel for indoor pool. We got there & first thing grandkids did was put on swimsuits & we all went to pool to find green algae patches all over bottom and a 1/2 filled jacuzzi with brown water. Receptionist said the pool was closed and I asked why that wasn’t advertised… kids on spring break had ONE request! ONE! So we found a different hotel with working phones, rooms that smelled good, & an open pool. We were charged for 2 nights right when we checked in. We said we wanted a refund. At first she said she could only refund the 2nd night. I insisted on both nights because we had only been there less than15 minutes and all the stuff I just mentioned. The receptionist finally agreed & she showed us the total refund on the computer screen before we left. I paid on a credit card and my daughter paid on her debit card. Her bank showed the charge for 2 nights, the credit, then a charge X 2 that doubled her payment. My credit card showed a charge, a refund, then a charge to add both nights back on. We tried to call 3 numbers & phones don’t work. We tried to email & that was returned as an invalid address. We had to dispute charges w/our banks. (Writing this 10 days later)
