I felt most things in this property, from the kitchen, the furniture, the decking and the decking furniture were old tired and dated. There was no wardrobe, just a hanging rail on wheels, which had to be kept in the lounge due to lack of space in the bedroom. The pictures and the description on the site to not reflect and true condition of the apartment. I was really disappointed with the property.

Despite superficial cleaning, sadly the aged and and worn condition of the apartment (notwithstanding some decorating attempts) contributed to us feeling uncomfortable during our stay (particularly, the aged state of the kitchen cupboards and the shower) ... considering the cost of the accommodation. However, the apartment was spacious.

We thought for a fairly old facility that it offered real value for money & readily recommend it to travelers. The views from the front porch area out over the lake were first class & the table & chairs on the balcony create a real holiday atmosphere. The interior of the apartment are clean & neat & the kitchen is large by apartment standards.

Penthouseen oli helppo tulla, auton sai suoraan omalle paikalle talon ovenveteen. Penthouse oli mukavan tilava ja siisti. Ehdoton plussa iso parveke josta ihanat näkymät. Kaikki tarvittavat varustelut löytyivät mm. keittiö ym. Sateenvarjot olisi ollut mukava lisä eteiseen. Lisäksi seinät ja ikkunat olivat ohuet, joten kaikki pienimmätkin äänet kuuluivat.

Classic Apartment in Rotorua

Apartment has amazing views from the deck, very comfortable and well equipped. ThIs apartment is very spacious and in a close location to the town center. Having the continental breakfast items is a nice touch.

Great views, close to everything, easy check in!

The view is amazing! There’s a cafe just a few buildings away that has great breakfast and desserts!!! There is a nice run to do from the house down to the lake and around the lake! The town bars and restaurants and shops are just a 4 minute walk! Tourist attractions hot pools are also just a 5 minute walk!

What more could you want!

The penthouse apartment was a fantastic place to stay! A easy 5 minute walk to a range of bars and restaurants and the lake. The accomodation was warm and comfortable (heat pump turned on for us) and the decor was amazing! Views to die for - must come back in summer when we can enjoy the deck!

Lovely spot

Stayed a few nights while attending a conference. The accommodation was really nice - very tidy and comfortable, lovely view of the lake and local marae. The deck was a great place for a beer. Comfortable bed and very relaxing in the lounge. Would recommend highly.

Spacious penthouse with nice balcony.

The penthouse is nicely furnished and king size bed is great. All cooking equipment is available and we used the hallway to store our bikes. Great stay in Rotorua.

Backpacker Deluxe

I would not call this accommodation a penthouse. A penthouse is a flat on the top floor of a tall building, typically one that is luxuriously fitted. It may have been on the top floor, but it stopped there. Unfortunately whoever did the renovation did it poorly. The floors were uneven and when you flushed the toilet the shower drain overflowed. I would unfortunately describe this accommodation as a Backpacker Deluxe.

Fantastic location. We walked everywhere

The location of the apartment was great. We walked to town several times as well as the restaurants. The apartment is large but the kitchen and bathroom are not. Compared to other places we stayed in NZ for this trip the cost of this apartment was too much. However location was great.
