Everything was literally perfect, especially the breakfast with buffet style was the BEST I’ve ever had before!!! We were completely amazed. The only thing that we were not satisfied was the transferring service from the main island, the exact destination of the ship was not written, and we took the wrong boat in the beginning.(the first boat that we were waiting didn’t come on time and we were confused, later on everything came on time)

Mixed.At all times remind yourself that this is a 3* hotel! When you squint your eyes, the setting fools you into thinking you're at a far fancier establishment. This messes with your expectations. Positive first- The island is beautiful. The views are spectacular. Breakfast is good. Boat to Rovinj is regular and on time. Negative - 1. Accessibility is poor. Lift doesn't stop at the lobby. 2. Rooms are large and clean - but old. Peeling paint, broken fittings and 1980's furnishings all show that the hotel's budget and maintenance has slipped. 3. Food at dinner is poor, it's a buffet. It's clean and fresh but again, it's low budget per head stuff. 4. Staff - not all, but some are really miserable. 5. Beaches - rocky - not strictly the hotel's problem but Rovinj has a problem with slimy algae bloom that sticks to your skin went you swim in the sea. 6. The pool. it hasn't been maintained - cracked tiles and rusty patches. To prevent the spread of algae, the water in the pool is incredibly salty which makes your eyes sting. 7. Non hotel guests - The island itself is public and quite properly day visitors come to the island to chill. They use the hotel grounds and services which means that on a busy day or on a day when the algae is bad they use the hotel pool area limiting access to sunbeds. Staff don't care or are scared to intervene when visitors behave badly. Teens jumping from an ornamental bridge into a shallow kids pool.

Breakfast buffet was large, lots of options and good quality. Rooms were a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. Gorgeous views from our balcony. Pool and beach were lovely. Ferry ran on time.

While the island and outdoor areas are beautiful, the hotel rooms are extremely dated, not clean and not as pictured. Getting to and from the island is easy via ferry but cumbersome to do anything. The food at the hotel was also not great so we had to go into town for every meal. I was truly disappointed at the quality of the rooms- very dated, sparse, not at all nice or luxurious- was also dirty

Absolutely gorgeous property - island !! Hotel and rooms are ready for a re-do updating. With some investment this property could easily become a de-luxe category it deserves based on its exclusive location. Day-visitors / bathers should not be allowed in order to give your guests the privacy they deserve and are paying for. We had a great experience / super friendly and helpful staff at reception, housekeeping and transportation areas. Keep up the good work. We will come back to stay on the island for sure!! Thank you.

The place could be amazing, its exterior is fantastic, great views, and fabulous potential. Needs updating, upgrading, and complete remodel. Staff are rude, barman outright hostile even when asking for a drink. The buffets are so mediocre that the only reason to have breakfast there is that there is no other option. This has been the most expensive place we stayed in Croatia and its accommodations were the worst: soviet-era mattress, shower that cannot fit a large person, furniture from the 1970s or 1980s, A/C that can wake a troop of tired soldiers, and towels you wouldn't use to dry your dog.

Eine ruhige Oass zum Ausspannen und Geniessen

Eine wunderschöne Insel mit viel Natur und Badebuchten. Schöne alte Bäume, gepflegte Gärten und auch wilde Natur, in einem guten Verhältnis. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Pool und Strand sind sehr schön, alle Liegen und Schirme können gratis genutzt werden. Von der Insel hat man eine tolle Sicht auf Rovinj. Frühstückt und Abendessen waren sehr reichhaltig und gut. Wir kommen hoffentlich bald wieder.

Die Länge vom Hotel auf der Insel ist toll. Der essen war super und Abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmer leider sehr sehr alt, kam Steckdosen, super kleine Dusche. Der Strand und Poolanlage war schön. Vor allem für Kinder. Das Restaurant war sauber, die Zimmer wurden nicht besonders gut geputzt aber nach dem 3. Tag gab es neue Bettwäsche. Leider kostet das Ausleihen von Badetüchern Geld, was ich sehr frech finde. Die Qualität der Cocktails ist nicht besonders. Dafür die Preise aber sehr hoch.

Vorab möchte ich sagen, dass wir wegen meines Geburtstags nur ein verlängertes Wochenende dort waren. Das Hotel ist eher etwas altmodisch gehalten, was aber total zusammen passt. Die ganzen Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mein Geburtstag wurde wahrgenommen und man hat mir die ein oder andere Aufmerksamkeit zukommen lassen, wie zum Beispiel eine Sektflasche und ein Zimmer mit toller Aussicht. Die Bootsüberfahrt zur Insel und nach Rovinj klappt wunderbar und ist organisiert. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und lecker. Das Abendessen hat seine Schwächen, aber dennoch essbar. Ich kann das Hotel empfehlen und wir werden sicherlich nochmal hinfahren, vielleicht auch diesen Sommer.

Die ganze Anlage und das Hotel und die Aussicht auf Rovinj sehr schön. Aber Die Zimmerausstattung entspricht nicht einem 3 * Hotel, eher einer Jugendherberge.Wir hatten ein DZ Zimmer mit Blick auf Rovinj gebucht und bekamen ein Familienzimmer mit einem Raum mit Stockbett und im Nebenzimmer mit Doppelbett. Darin ein kleiner FS und ein durchgesessenes, abgenutztes Sofa.Die Möbel aus beschichteten Spanplatten haben schon einige Jährchen auf dem Buckel.Die Dusche mit ca 55x55 cm viel zu klein. Die Aussicht war aber gut. Das Essen am Abend geschmacklos, nicht frisch gekocht, fertig Produkte.Um 19 Uhr waren die meisten Platten mit Vorspeisen leer und wurden kaum aufgefüllt. Es gab zB. einen Salat aus gekochtem Hühnerfleisch mit trockenen Toastbrot Würfeln ohne Sauce, oder Blumenkohlmedallions die nach Pappmache schmeckten. Die Getränke sind recht hochpreisig. 0.15 l Wein zB 6,40€., Aperol Spritz ca 9€. Das Personal gestresst und unpersönlich. Als ich zB beim FS um ein frisch gebratenes Ei bat, verdrehte die zuständige Dame nur die Augen.Wir sind vorzeitig einen Tag eher abgereist und haben 150€ verloren

Sehr sauberes Hotel und ebenso die gesamte Insel. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal (Service, Kinderbetreuung, Inselshuttelservice mit Boot, Zimmerreinigung alles Top) Zimmer etwas älter, aber keine Einschränkungen. Wir waren Teil einer Hochzeitgesellschaft. Die Organisation hat sehr gut funktioniert und das Ambiente war ausgezeichnet. Das Hochzeitessen war ein Genuss. Das Gesamte Service war Spitze. Perfekter Aufenthalt

Wir möchten uns beim Team von Alen (Serviceleiter) recht herzlichst für das gute Service bedanken. Es waren alle sehr bemüht und Hilfsbereit. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Die Zimmer wurden täglich sehr sauber gereinigt. Der Pool und die Anlage war perfekt. Auch das Service für Elektro Autofahrer hat in Kooperation mit dem Grand Hotel sehr gut funktioniert. Auf Grund dessen können wir uns im Herbst oder Winter auch einen Aufenthalt im Grand Hotel vorstellen.

It’s clear it’s very well managed and maintained, the team work well together, show both passion and individuality. The boats are regular, are very good and parking and connecting shuttle are all good. The facilities and views are excellent.

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel auf einer kleinen vorgelagerten Insel. Fast jedes Zimmer hat Meerblick. An die Geräusche der stündlich ankommenden bzw. abfahrenden Personenfähre muss man sich erst gewöhnen.
