"The hostel is in a wonderful position and it's a grand old building. We really enjoyed staying here. We had a private room and it was very large. The shared toilets and showers were all very clean. "The service at the restaurant is horrendous. They don’t have many places to eat and not enough staff. The wait for food is long and staff inattentive. A service charge of 12.5% is added. Stay elsewhere. The balmoral in Edinburgh is worth a stay. Not this place."
