Stay in Baia Hotel

It was a good experience since the hotel allowed us to checkin earlier with no hassle. Checkout was also not a hassle though transport service is limited since they do not have contacts.

BAIA NORTE - is it worth it?

Service and location is good and ideal for travelers who prefer to have a quiet place to talk and just enjoy the sea anytime of the day without having to cross the street. Need to improve more on cleanliness of the room especially cabinets and ceilings, restore/refurbish broken old furnitures. A place where you learn to just accept its imperfection as you spend a day or two.

A bad experience

We stayed 4 days. We were greeted warmly. The hotel has a great ocean view. They provide a basic breakfast. The ac and WiFi worked well. Now the not so good. Only one usable outlet in room to charge devices. Door to room extremely flimsy. Opens with a key attached to a piece of wood. The large window is very dirty and covered with a almost transparent curtain that allows light to enter the room at night because there is a hotel light directly outside the room. Never felt our belongings were secure here. Anyone could come off the beach and possibly gain enterance. The owner lives on site but has not made any improvements for a very long time. Overall very run down property. I do not recommend this hotel.

Nice view, fronting the Altavaz Island directly. Hotel.com, was not informed about my booking according to the front desk. Luckily they still have one room left for us. Satisfied because of the view. Cleanliness was satisfactory, although the hotel is a bit old. Clean sheets and room. We ask for a ride to the airpot at 4:30 am, the arranged tricycle did not came. So we opted for a passing tricycle as we dont want to miss our flight. Overall stay, satisfactory. Staff were very helpful, food was okay as we ordered only a merienda In this place. Food prices are cheap by Manila standards. Thank you for the stay. We consider Going back to this place If ever In Roxas City again because of the view as It is close to the sea.

A piece of Heaven in Roxas Capiz - Baia Norte

It was one of the best vacations my wife and I have enjoyed. The place is really a haven. It is refreshing for us living in the city for so long. The staff as well as the owner Sir Ike Altavas was very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our second time in this place. In fact, me and my sibling and our families are planning on spending our Holy week in Baia Norte next year.

worst hotel in the entire app listing

I have my paid booking for 2 days,. when i came in to checked in, the staff told me, they are fully booked and there is no rooms available., they let me stay for 2 hours to search for an available hotel for my transfer until they found one hotel in the area with a higher rates. they booked me for 1 night instead of 2 and let me pay an additional 87.00 dollars for my remaining stay. This is the worst hotel in the entire Hotel.com listing. They don't even give me water for my inconvenience of staying in the lobby for the wait., what a very bad experience..,

Sämsta hotellet jag sovit på

Otrevlig personal, inget fungerande wifi, ingen pool, svart tråkig strand. Tråkiga rum och osköna sängar. Det ingick frukost men det fanns bara hamburgare att välja på. Skulle aldrig vilja komma tillbaka hit.

Shameful Deception

Baia Norte is a deception.There is no swimming pool,no private beach,no hot water.It is in a shameful state of disrepair and should not be advertised or booked by reputable organizations. Three manger dogs wander around the place.It is terrible.The only good but not redeeming feature is he too small staff who try to be helpful.

Not going back

Arrived at hotel while storm Marce was still at the door and we were wet. Only the receptionist was at the desk and we were not even offered anything. No phone signal in the room and cable was also out - we finally got the TV working the following night. Owner/manager stays at the hotel but not good-natured - I greeted him but did not respond. Saw him scolding the staff twice. You don't feel welcome..

Fabulous!

We had a fantastic experience at Baia Norte Beach Resort and we'd strongly recommend to any friends especially those who would want a peaceful and refreshing vacation. This was one of the friendliest places we have stayed and we were extremely pleased! All we can say is that we were provided outstanding service from beginning till end. They have a wonderful staff who do a great job serving the guests!

Fantastic Experience

Having stayed at various beach hotels around the country, Baia Norte is by far the best! In terms of location this is indeed the best - it is actually a house by the sea. From sunrise till sunset we enjoyed ourselves along the beach line, less than 10 steps away from our rooms. And yeah the staff was very honest, I left my phone and they mailed it to me immediately free of charge!
