"Lovely, clean and well kept hotel. The room was a very good size, as was the bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was great, with good amounts of choice. Parking was free but not overly well signposted (as the entrance to the car park seems to have been relocated due to the new tearoom coming soon). If you drive past the hotel and go down the first road on the left, take another left and the car park is just there. Would definitely stay here again."

"Room spacious and clean. Lovely grounds. Staff lovely. Just a blocked shower drain and a fold up bed put in when it wasn't asked for take away a star but apart from that enjoyed our stay. Great mattress. :)"

"Charming historic building but inside there was a modern hotel with clean and comfortable, well-maintained rooms. It also has ample parking. There is a pleasant bar area and restaurant. They served a good buffet breakfast with a range of food to suit all tastes (fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bread/toast, pastries, cold meats and cheeses and also a full cooked breakfast). The food was good and the bacon and sausages on the cooked breakfast were particularly high quality. The hotel has an arrangement...

"The room was very clean but found the bed too small and the pillows too firm, but nice quiet hotel. Not too pleased with the cooked breakfast as it wasn't that hot especially the scrambled egg which had a funny texture and no taste fried eggs would have been better. Expected to see a more professional serving area not the bay Marie's which looked like a temporary last minet adition to resturant. glad we didn't have dinner there"
