"The hotel was beautifully presented and in an excellent central position for all the sights. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and we made good use of the bar area. We didn’t eat at the restaurant although the menu looked good. The room was of a good size and had everything you would need. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with a good range of toiletries. All in all we had a great stay and would highly recommend."

"Location is what its all about in Porto and this location was perfect...just literally around the corner from the Porto Cathedral and an easy (well uphill or downhill) walk to the train station. The accommodations were fine...we were two adult couples so be aware that one room was a loft overlooking the kitchen and sitting area. It does have two baths...one is downstairs and one is up. "Hotel was in an good location however room was small and dark. We complained and they moved us to another room with a little more light. No view in either room. Hallways were dark and depressing. Breakfast was average nothing exceptional. Had to ask for the free bottle of wine. Was not offered"

Then we were place at the very top room which had a very tight winding stairs without a handrail and was extremely difficult to lug a suitcase up.
