"We decided at the desk to upgrade our stay to include "All Inclusive" food and beverages. It turned out to be a good decision as there were none of the usual restaurants or bars within easy walking distance of the hotel. There was easy access to a long white sandy beach with turquoise waters that many locals take advantage of. A boardwalk there stretched for miles providing a nice place to walk or run. The pools were top notch, featured some scheduled activities, live music, DJ, and bar service....

"It's a 5 star hotel and it shows. It is large, has plenty of amenities and resources for the guests. A few restaurants and a bar (admittedly we didn't get to try any). The breakfast was good. The pool was nice and comforting on the hot days we had. The hotel room was very spacious. And the bathroom was larger than I'm used to. We'd been in other hotels durong our Portugal trip that were quite small, so this was a welcome change. Overall we loved this hotel. I saw other reviews mention the hotel...

"It is a brand new hotel so everything was in pristine condition. There was a wonderful scent all over the property. We got a room with abalcony facing Ponta da Piedade so we could see the sunset, although the property is a few blocks from there but you still can see the ocean. The included breakfast is EXCELLENT!!! It even had Champagne and Rose included. It is very quiet at night. I would only suggest some entertainment inside the property but 100% recommended!"

"Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. First think to know is that this is a village of houses— each has several rooms and their own shared pool (which we used each day after doing other activities). The staff were very nice from the beginning, showing us our house, room, and pool, and also the parking and restaurant (unbelievable large and fresh free breakfast sitting out on the pool patio). The location was nice, as it was 15-20 minute walk from the historic downtown, but ~5 min from...

"Clean room and pool area etc, front desk was great and friendly! As for the some other issues was around 4:00 in after by pool side they ran out of seafood and meat to eat so you where very limited what you could eat. The lady behind the counter was rude to my husband and I . The beds were okay . No comforter just a sheet to cover you , so my husband went to the car to get the blankets we brought to cover us at night . Great walking distance down to the town for supper and tour around people...

"The room had connecting doors, even though the booking information only stated that connecting rooms were available, not that I would necessarily be assigned one. I specifically chose a higher-priced room, expecting a better experience. Unfortunately, the room had virtually no sound insulation. I could hear the noise from both adjacent rooms as if the guests were inside my own room, which made it extremely difficult to rest. There was noise until midnight and then again from as early as 6 a.m.,...

"Lovely property, spacious and well appointed apartment. Four outdoor pools (one adults only with bar), big gym, spa services, couple of warm indoor pools/hydrotherapy area. Close to beach (5 min walk). Far from town and stores - need a car or ride service to get groceries or sightsee. Plenty of parking. Restaurant on site was fabulous, ate there à la carte twice and buffet dinner twice. Staff very helpful. Decor modern and calming. Lovely place!"

"We booked garden view spacious room. But there was toilet smell coming from somewhere in the drain. When we took shower, we found it was blocked partially and water came outside shower area. They only repaired the next day."
