"The staff was excellent; the food spectacular (the chef used to work at the Hilton), they upgraded our room with no additional cost. The receptionist/waitress was very informative. The room was spotless and was cosy with nice lighting, a fireplace and electric heating. There is a lovely hike up to the top of the mountain, too. The whole place is very clean and organized with both indoor and outdoor thermal pools. Great for couples and families alike. "

"I left too early for breakfast but had a wonderful $10 meal the evening before. The bungalow was not very big but plenty of room for myself and everything I needed was there. It was wrong, comfortable with DIRECTV and a hot shower. They arranged a $10 taxi ride to the airport, which took less than 15 minutes. The driver was there well before pick up time. Check out was simple and easy. We will be happy to stay there again on my next trip through Quito. "

"The staff could not have done more for us. From the very beginning they were communicative friendly welcoming and when we arrived they were so warm. It was our honeymoon and they’d put some flowers in the room which was such a nice touch. The location is great, the room lovely (albeit not quite soundproof so bring earplugs!!!) we really loved our stay here thank you "

"I gave it five stars in each category because they were great in all of them, but it’s not your typical five star property because it’s not a fancy place. It was clean, comfortable (mattresses was okay but not super comfortable), and very inexpensive. I’d recommend to anyone who wanted a nice, clean and safe place to stay. If you want luxury, that’s not this, but I liked it and I’d stay there again in a minute. Super close to a mall and huge park as well as the soccer stadium and transportation....

"The breakfasts were a highlight. We were always asked what time we wanted breakfast and each day we were greeted with a healthy, tasty and Ecuadorian breakfast and fresh juice. The hotel is conveniently located in the historic Old Town but on the outskirts so there is little noise. For us a highlight was being able to watch the New Year's Eve tradition of burning effigies right outside of our window because it is in a residential neighbourhood. "Hi highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel near Old Town Quito. Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. All were perfect! "
