"My family stayed 1 night at Alnes Gard during our trip to Norway. We stayed here as a base to see Alesund and so glad we did! This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place! "We really enjoyed our stay in Ålesund—the hotel is in a fantastic, central location that made it easy to explore the area on foot. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant. However, the biggest downside was the noise at night.
