And nice location. Montmartre is great, but also pretty easy to get into the centre of Paris. We did it by subway, but also by e-bike (to the Eiffel Tower). "

You should probably confirm with the hotel on when they switch to cooling (staff mentioned something about cooling being just turned on the week we got there) - Paris was warm by our standards and having the A/C was very helpful after long days of walking in the heat."

"I stayed here for a week for my first time in Paris. Great location - the Louvre is a five minute walk, Notre Dame is about 15. Both Sacre Cœur and the Eiffel Tower are within a 45 minute walk as well. I'd recommend it for the location alone. The staff was very accommodating, and the woman who oversaw breakfast every morning was delightful to talk to. If and when I make it back to Paris, L'Empire is on my short list of places to stay again."
