"No “Cook to Order” breakfast as shown to have. Had tub instead of “Walk-In Shower” as shown in pictures. Toilet was lower than expected and more difficult than normal lowering down and getting up."

"Everything was better than expected. We stayed here last year and this excellent hotel is doing everything right to meet client satisfaction. The welcome was warm and accommodating. The room was the cleanest and quietest of all the road overnights we have experienced. Breakfast was outstanding, with continual refreshing of the eggs and bacon. From maid service, to front desk and restaurant hostess the staff constantly checked to see if we were satisfied. Two thumbs up!"

"Great place to stay in the Lake Norman area. There was a lot of road construction in the area that caused congestion and couldn't access sidewalks so you really can't leave the hotel on foot, but that's not the hotel's fault. Fresh coffee in the lobby at all times and very clean. I'll stay here again."

"I understand the property is under some improvements at the moment. The room they gave us for three nights was about halfway remodeled. It was also very dirty for Marriot standards. I did inquire about a different room and they stated there were none available. They also told me the room I was in was already remodeled. Beware of the photos, the outside is not the same building and the rooms will look similar, but may not have all amenities listed. "

"Only down side is the shower door would only open from the back side...once you reached in to turn on, expect a cold blast and suck it up until you can adjust the handle! Otherwise, everything was awesome!"
