"Stairs and hallway are filthy. The room door was very worn. You can see the hall light when the door is closed and locked. Does not fully close. You have to force it. Must check the door when entering and exiting to make sure it shuts. Had to have keys recoded 4 times. Room was clean but very outdated. Staff was friendly. Air conditioner was new. "Before the fire a few years ago, and I am assuming new ownership, this hotel used to be a really nice place to stay! Now it's half the original price more, no more coffee pots in room and no more breakfasts. After checking in, I was informed that they do not supply drain stoppers (for bathtub), as too many people have overflowed the tubs. Upon prodding, the front desk person finally brought me a drain stopper, but it didn't work in this particular tub. The refrigerator had seen better days and...

"Although the room & bathroom were clean, when we entered the room upon arrival, a very unpleasant sewage odor was present. This odor was corrected by an air freshner my husband found in the exercise room. The curtains need to be replaced as the backing was deteriorating allowing streetlight & am sunlight to filter through. The beds were very comfortable; the linen & towels were adequate. The staff was very cordial & parking was adequate. The breakfast offered was limited."
