"The hotel rooms were really clean and warm. We had to wait for the barman to finish his cigarette before we were able to order a drink at the bar, the waitress at breakfast was tidying away the breakfast buffet items around us as we were eating so it made us feel a little rushed and the breakfast table was sticky with crumbs from a previous sitting. The receptionist tried to charge for a drink on checking out which was not ours and didn't even apologise. The room was prepaid for over the web...

"I liked the whole security of the place and the little kettle with condiments offered. I didn't like how there was only 1 flat pillow the stains on the carpets were not great and the walk to the reception especially when the sat back doesn't take you anywhere near is ridiculous. Reception should be close to the accomodation in my opinion. None the less the staff were really helpful with directions and very welcoming"

"I turned up and the hotel was an active building site and closed. The builders were really helpful, great people rang the owner defended my case checked and confirmed I had a booking. The owner 'not my problem, he needs to contact the booking agent' Hotels.com 'virtual advisor' was about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Couldn't find anywhere to stay, drove home"
