"Lovely hotel, restaurant, bar, in an excellent location for shopping etc in Rye. Very good value for money. There is no free car parking but the pay & display/RINGO is immediately next door and less than a tenner a day. We can highly recommend this hotel."

"Lovely Hotel at the top of Rye close to the church and the castle. Staff were friendly and helpful the breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items from continental and cooked food avaliiable plus hot drinks or juices.Our room was clean and comfortable perfect for our long weekend stay. I would highly recommend this Hotel."

"As one can tell from the photos, this is a beautiful lodge in the old city. It's perched on a cliff overlooking the lowlands and the harbor off in the distance. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The breakfast menu, while limited, offered a fine variety of options, all well prepared. The only factor that keeps this rating from 5-stars is that the building lacks an elevator and stairs to upper floors are narrow and steep, the carpet is threadbare, and the walls require repair and...
