"Denied check-in for 4 people when there was a double sofa bed & king size bed. I've stayed in other hotels in Spain with the same arrangement and number of people with no issues. They left us stranded the day we arrived for our two week trip with no choice but to book new accomodations somewhere else last minute that costed us thousands of dollars since they refused to refund us or offer any upgrades."

"The phrase “a 3 dressed up as a 9” comes to mind when I think of Barcelona Airport Hotel. Impressive modern building, modern interior design, but with cheap finishings and overly dark guestroom interior. Our king bed was very uncomfortable. You could feel every spring. No pillow top whatsoever. Front desk staff were friendly but offered very little information about amenities, breakfast, etc. We arrived late (2am) and planned to sleep in but, despite the “Do not Disturb l” sign on our door...

"15 minute drive from the airport and 7 minute walk to the Metro made it convenient for our purposes, although outside of the city center, so it required a 45 minute Metro ride to get to the main tourist attractions. Breakfast was wonderful, full of variety and regional flavors. Decor was pretty and the space seemed to be designed for comfortable business meetings. The beds were made up as twin beds pushed together. The shower was an impractical modern design. Not much of a view outside, but...
