Kunuku Resort All Inclusive Curacao, Trademark by Wyndham
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was lovely, we loved the bartenders (Kash and Paula). The front desk was incredibly helpful and Kitty set us up in the best position to travel around. It was all around a great experience. We had come from Blue Bay which very much did not meet our expectations, booked Kunuku that day, and even considering there was a black out for a few hours, it was truly a worth while visit. Everyone was so attentive and kind."
Bayside Boutique Hotel - Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort
8/10 Good
"The staff in the front end were fantastic. It was a pleasant welcoming check in. We noticed the floors were not
thoroughly cleaned in the room but it was clean besides that. Breakfast was not very good was very expensive and limited only to their specific breakfast dishes.
The beach is beautiful, plenty of loungers and the pool though small was very nice and relaxing
Overall I probably would stay here again, it was very good time besides small percentage of staff members who were standoffish not too nice"
"Great resort with access to gorgeous beach. This is a gated resort composed of both high end private residences and apartments rented out with access to the amenities such as restaurants, golf court and private beach. Many residents travel by golf carts and children can be seen roaming by themselves in their scooters. It can be a bit of walk to get to the beach, but overall very safe even at night. We did experience two power outages, which seem common for a few hours. Once you leave the resort you are reminded that this is a 3rd world country with many dirt roads, and locals trying to make a living from tourists. So keep this in mind when traveling to the many other public beaches. There is a local high end mall called Sambil that thas all the common American brands, a kids bounce playground, movie theater and a supermarket. Things are not very close and renting a car was a must to see all the island. The main Office is only open briefly in the mornings, and WhatsApp text is the main method to communicate with staff. They are responsive and very friendly, but it was something different that most resorts."
"We loved our stay, beautiful view, amazing staff, lots of colorful birds, nice snorkeling right off the beach, nice pool. It was quiet and relaxing, everything we wanted in our island vacation. Super close to amazing beaches and snorkeling as well. Enjoyed the morning yoga class by the ocean. Their coffee shop Bread and more was our favorite (had fresh coconut ice cream almost every night), we didn’t love the restaurant breakfast. We aren’t big on resort dinners, so we opted for dinner spots nearby…VIP food truck and Marfa’s. It’s a haul from Willemstad, so we only went in once….which is all you need. I work in five star luxury and Coral Estates was the best of laid back luxury."
"The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. A lil difficulty with English but eventually understanding each other. Restaurant was also good. Room was clean and every thing was good."
"The grounds are beautifully kept. The views are spectacularly unreal. Sunsets from the hot tub and our balcony were breathtaking. The unit had everything we needed (towels, ice trays, small cooler to take on our outings, microwave, dishes) except for paper towels, which we bought at the market. Walk right down the cliff steps to dive into the abyss or just down the street to Playa Lagun where you’ll find at least two restaurants just past the beach. The singing chef just up the road at Discover Lagun restaurant prepares a variety of delicious meals. Since we are used to living in close quarters, we brought the mattress downstairs and let the heat rise to the second floor/bedroom while we enjoyed the comforts of the fan and A/C on the first floor. Gracious staff let me borrow a charger when mine went kaput. Gated entrance feels secure. Can’t wait to return!"
"This is an apartment rental. It was spacious, clean, nice, safe. The deck outside was especially nice. The Hotels.com listing is slightly wrong: this is further from the beach, maybe 1/2 km, walkable, but not on the beach.
Uber is not available. You really need to rent a car to be here as most services are not in walking distance. There are 3 restaurants and a bar on the beach. The hostess helped a arrange a car rental, delivered to the property, very helpful.
The unit provided dish soap, but not laundry soap or bath soap. These are readily available at the local grocery store, but, again, not walking distance."
