"The hotel is beautiful and next to the river. You can rent e-bikes to ride around. Their restaurant is very nice overlooking the Douro River. Be aware that transportation to/from the hotel is limited as there are nearly no taxis in town and they only accept cash."

"Lovely hotel. Breakfast was really nice. Pool was amazing. We were in the family room and it was very spacious with proper beds for the kids. Didn’t eat at the restaurant as it wasn’t suitable for my kids but the staff recommended other local restaurants. No bar however they serve drinks and charcuterie. ..."
