This is an aging hot spring hotel type ryokan, but it is well maintained and the staff is outstanding. This hotel is still so popular with the locals that all of their restaurants were sold out for all meals on a Tuesday.

We are a family of 3 staying one night in a room with private bathroom. The woman that checked us in was polite and helpful.
