"This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed. There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."
"We thought we'd booked a hotel and were pleasantly surprised to find it a B&B.
It's close to the highway but not in town and we were tired so we took advantage of the offer for an evening meal. The meal was what I have been expecting since I got to France. It was the best meal I've had in France. I can't wait for breakfast.
The place is run by a nice, hard working, young couple who do a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable. "
"There is no question about this small resort it is absolutely astonishing with the surrounding scenery. It just stunning! Beautiful lake and surrounding area with plenty of other breathtaking places to visit. However the lodge we had did have a problem with hot water when we first arrived but was quickly resolved. The main issue was our cabin ( it had extremely creaky floors!) this wasn’t a problem in itself. However if you had to get up during the night you’d wake up the other people you are staying with. Additionally communication with staff was difficult due to the language barrier when trying to sort problems out with the staff however they were very patient and polite. They had plenty of activities to do on site. One thing I would offer that’s not provided is basic amenities such as tea and coffee especially if you’ve travelled a long way to the site (even if you paid extra for it) otherwise very clean and tidy accommodation and again absolutely breathtakingly beautiful!
