The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise."

"We had a wonderful stay in the lovely town of Amboise. Mary was the perfect hostess! The entire upstairs composed of two rooms and a kitchenette was all ours for three days. Free parking on the street outside the villa was convenient. And a short walk into the town was a bonus. "

"Surprenant , les toilettes sur le palier , il y a longtemps que je n'avais pas vu cela . Un lavabo minuscule dans la salle de bain , 1 seule serviette . La tv qui n'a pas toutes les chaines avec un démodulateur. Pas de bureau pour travailler . Déçu, la personne que j'ai vu là bas est très sympa , mais les prestations sont a revoir pour le prix ."

"We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens.
