"Excellent place to stay to explore Pauillac. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who also arranged and booked great winery tours and restaurants in the area. Definitely recommend, and would stay there again if I’m back in that part of Fance."
"The ‘family’ room has no air conditioning. The upstairs rooms apparently do. We visited during some of the hottest days of the period and were provided one small fan. No inquiry by staff/owners about whether room was tolerable given known high temperatures. The folks that run the place were on property only in morning during our stay, no one on property in evening/night during that period (you call and leave a phone message if you have an issue). Property grounds very run down, surrounding town...
"Drove for 10 hours when we got there we were told everything shuts at 8:30 had to drive if you needed food went to the toilet in reception it was filthy. Even though we paid for the stay we turn round got in the car and left "
"Wonderful guesthouse. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The decoration is old French style, but done with taste. I highly recommend it. Tack så mycket!"
"En otroligt vacker oas på landsbygden med utmärkta rum, bekväma sängar, synnerligen vacker trädgård och en utsökt middag - missa inte den, behöver förbeställas! Ett jättetrevligt värdpar därtill, och finfin frukost. Lämnade inget mer att önska än mer tid att stanna där. "
"A beautiful and tranquil part of the country. The hospitality was superb and nothing was too much trouble. A delightful find and one we will not forget. "
"I would never go back again. I felt insecure in the area where the hotel is. Very old and lacking basic maintenance. I had my breakfast included and they told me I didn’t. I learned about that after we left"
"Super interesting place to stay. New bathrooms. Very clean. Nice staff. Decent breakfast. Rooms have very basic amenities - not surprising given the place’s origin, but there isn’t even any soap in the bathrooms - no way to wash your hands except to use the mystery bottle of body wash (?) in the shower. The place isn’t expensive, so basic is fine, but maybe a few more amenities (like some soap, tissue, an extra towel or two) would be nice?"
"Rural France at its laid back finest. A family home that shouts history with old furniture and modern convenience. Rooms that look out acres of fields."
