"A really super hotel for a stay in central Caen. Clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. Everything is in easy reach and a wealth of places to eat and drink are very close by."

"Nice hotel in a great location. The bathroom was a good size — something that can be hard to find in France. My only critique is that one of the front desk staff, the gentleman with the beard, could improve his customer service skills. That said, I still give this establishment five stars overall."

"We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. "

The breakfast was to die for and we really enjoyed dining at the restaurant in The Bar. The location was very convenient for exploring Normandy. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. We highly recommend staying at Chateau d'Audrieu!"
