"Room had wall mounted tv removed from fixed wall frame with temporary cables running to a tv sat on the dressing table which also obscured the mirror. Bathroom sliding door was broken. Crisps/chips were left on the floor under the edge of the bed from previous guest. Complained to reception who initially said there was nothing wrong and why were we complaining as the room had a tv. We asked for another room and were told it was not possible as the hotel was full when in fact it was actually only about 50% occupied.Booked this hotel as result of it being called “fabulous” on hotels.com web site. Then found a cockroach on the bed and had been moved to another room and soon as we went in the other room it had a very bad toilet smell and not only that on last day faced verbal aggressive abuse from a cleaner he rushed downstairs to the lobby and was shouting in my friends face in French saying the room was left dirty apparently just as there was a hanger and a few wrappers on the desk and a broken charging lead on the floor and towels which had been used left on one side of the corner of the bathroom as people normally do. It was like he had expected us to to have done the full room cleaning for him seems like he was taking out his hotels under staffed issue out of us never in my life had we been spoken to like that. "
