"First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. "The property was like a French estate from yesteryear. Our room was huge (two bedrooms, actually) with a large, updated bathroom. The grounds were magnificent and immaculately maintained. Our hosts were fun and helpful and made our stay a pleasure. The included breakfast was well-done. If you want a quiet, but centrally located property, I can suggest this location. The only difficulty we had was a problem with the WiFi, but the other guests did not, so who knows?"

We had enough space in the suite for all 4 of us to sleep. We didn't use the space during the day as we were out touring. Good parking in the street. Thanks for the stay!"
