"The rooms are old , I wouldn’t say dirty but a renovation wouldn’t hurt
This hotel has a problem. It is announced in expedia with a certain price and surprised!!, when you get there it turns out the price is 20% more than what the expedia reservation says, and they just tell you to pay the whole amount and go complain to expedia.
So I would recommend to avoid unless you like being surprised having to pay 20% more over the price that you were originally quoted"

"We had come to this hotel same time last year and thought it was a great place to stay with reasonable prices, however this time around was not as pleasant in the mere fact that your front line staff was not overly polite and rather stand-offish. The gentleman or lack there of at the counter was taller a little heavier set and had glasses had greeted me upon arrival with what I thought was a respectful demanor until I spoke back in English in which his demanor had changed our entire stay at the...

"Unacceptable Service, Broken Promises, and Zero Accountability
I booked a stay at Hyatt Centric Montréal for a group that expanded from 4 to 5 guests. Well before my free cancellation window closed, I proactively contacted the hotel directly to ask if an extra bed could be added to avoid the hassle of canceling and rebooking.
A representative verbally assured me over the phone that a sofa bed would be provided. To be entirely sure, I also messaged them through Expedia to reconfirm. Hyatt...

"Beds very comfortable. Lobby is bright and inviting. Concierge and bellmen very, very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Room was clean and comfortable, but hallways, lobby, most areas of the hotel outside of room were cold! We wore our jackets even while dining in the lobby restaurant.
Location is convenient to train station, small city park, cathedral, and ambitious walk to Old Montreal. Uber and Lyft readily available, and most meet at hotel curbside.
