Great staff & location

Lovely stay at this hotel right in the heart of the town. We had but realised it was festival weekend and the staff were so helpful to let us park our camper van in the garage when the town was sealed off. The festival was amazing and the locals so welcoming, polite and so much fun. We’d love to return again someday, even better if it was festival weekend.

Love St Jean de Luz

Benoit warmly welcomed us and even took our bags up for us. We checked in early and received an upgrade! Gorgeous view of the beach and could hear the waves. Beautiful!

Less than 4 star and could up game to become 4 *

Nice hotel but missed on a lot of fronts for a 4 star hotel. No coffee or tea kettle in room. No cups no plates. Lacking toilet paper and given used small rolls from other rooms....weird. no refrigerator. View was into a stucco wall despite being l ocated at the beach. Nice building, clean rooms. Wonderful location. Most support staff not super helpful but one was great.

Hotel de La Plage was the perfect place to stay for our St Jean de Luz vacation. From the moment we arrived until we checked out 2 days later the front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.The hotel checked all the boxes, but the staff made our stay memorable: from helping us park our car to amazing restaurant recommendations, they were the crown jewel. Our rooms were clean and beautifully designed and appointed with plenty of room for our suitcases and to store clothing. Location, location, location. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again (and extend our stay).

Amazing hotel. Perfectly situated right on the beach, walking distance to everything in town. Clean, well managed, friendly. Everything needed is taken care for. We had a room with a balcony and loved it. If you are in this part of the world, this hotel is the place to stay. Saint Jean-de-Luz is also a great town. We visited Biarritz, Bayonne and San Sebastián with day visits from here. We had a car and all these cities are within an half hour drive. One day we even drove to Bilbao to see the Guggenheim. A bit a long drive but was worth it. We will certainly stay here again if we ever come back to Basque Country. ( I hope we will )

正月に訪れたので多くの店は閉まっており、夏向けのビーチリゾート地を楽しむのは難しかったですが、海の目の前の小綺麗なホテルです。 スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで私たちが快適に過ごせるよう気を使ってくださいました。 部屋にコンセントが２つ（バスルームと寝室に一つずつ）しかないのは残念でした。朝食はフルーツ、サラミ、パン等のバイキングでした。

L etablissement porte bien son nom, difficile de trouver meilleur emplacement pour profiter de st jJean de Luz.
