"We have been to St Martin 5 times, this being our first stay at Oyster Bay resort. We loved the property and its proximity to Orient Beach and Grand Case. The layout of the resort is great, with a beautiful infinity pool as well as access to the beach. Unfortunately, there was significant sargassum in the water and on the beach which is unusual for this time of year. We did rent a car so were able to visit and enjoy beaches that were not affected. "The property is very good for relaxation. If you want touristy vibe, night life and activities to do within walking distance stay on the Dutch side. There is nothing close by the hotel besides a grocery store, pizza restaurant by the way it was really good and a laundry mat.
