"We were there in very hot weather and the airconditioning in the room and the rooftop restaurant were very good.
Our room facing the river with roadway in between was surprisingly quiet due to double windows.
Rooftop restaurant (Les 3 Domes) was very impressive with floor to ceiling glass and impressive views of the old city, the river, and the newer city. Mid-century deluxe decor.
Very good food and we enjoyed dinner there twice.

"The room, surroundings, including the old monastery area for breakfast, lunch and drinks as well as the spa section makes this hotel one of the better value high end hotels I have stayed in. The staff is very friendly, and despite the luxurious surroundings, there was a very chill and unpretentious atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again if I have a chance. "What a gem in a very convenient area of Bellecour Cordeliers in between the Saône and Rhône rivers and a short 10 min walk to Vieux Lyon. We stayed for two nights as a family of four with younger children and found it extremely comfortable, clean, spacious and affordable. Great a/c during a very hot spot spell of highs in the mid to upper 90’s F (36 C). Everyone who worked there was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was simple and delicious. Highly recommend!!"
"Our stay was great. I would have liked a fridge in the room. It is a beautiful, old hotel with a lot of character. I would have preferred hardwood in our room from a cleanliness point of view.
