"My experience with the Jung was very mixed. In terms of the positives, the staff (especially Lisa at the front desk) were very nice and welcoming. The pool was very relaxing as well. The robes were nice and plush (although I had to ask for a bathrobe as it wasn't in the room when I arrived). And the bed was comfortable. The room and the hotel had a nice aesthetic overall.
In terms of the issues, they were small but plenty. The ice machine on the fifth floor didn't work. More concerning, the ADA automatic door opener on the outside of the building was not working. Being on crutches, this made getting into the hotel a slight inconvenience.
Also, the hotel cafe was not open during my stay (even though there was a sign in the hotel lobby suggesting that it was). The hotel elevators struggled to work after a hard rain, making getting to my room at night a bit inconvenient. And on top of that, my room key didn't work (I was told that the keys tend to deactivate when held close to a phone or a credit card). Thankfully, Lisa was there to help me. Also, soundproofing can be improved, especially under the room doors. Also, the toilet was very wide, making it quite uncomfortable to sit on.
Considering these issues, it is hard for me to consider this property a four-star hotel or consider recommending to a friend."
