"Nice was our home base for 5 nights to enjoy Eze, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Antibes & Cannes. Victor Hugo was a beautiful European vibe hotel, great location just blocks to beach, to train station, and so many restaurants all around - pretty church right across the street. The main street it is on is lined with beautiful trees. Rooms are simple but very good size as well as good sized bathroom & shower, mini fridge, cute little balconies, good a/c. Great full breakfast each morning is included,...

"Was not given the free breakfast that was included in the amenities. They insisted on stating it would have a charge of $20 or $30 per person. We went elsewhere for breakfast rather than attempt to get the free fast. See conf#swlcu3"

"Basic hotel in an extremely convenient location. Check-in was delayed, but we were offered free tea/coffee and were able to leave our luggage to pop out. The room was fine - nice shower and comfy bed, but the toilet door wouldn’t close and decor was a little tired. Would definitely stay again, as it’s fantastic value for the location."
