"Clean room "

"There was a weird smell in the room we noticed when we first arrived. Room is ok, a little dated and the rooms are very dark, overcompensated by very bright lights that you can’t dim. The beds were comfy, only one pillow provided, I guess we could ask for more at reception if we needed. Cooking facilities and washing machine really good. Location excellent, 10 minute walk to Tokyo station and 1 minute from Ginza line which was very convenient- Lawsons and 7-11 very close. "

"Extremely convenient location with tons of restaurants, shopping, karaoke, bars, and supermarkets within an easy walking distance. The train station is also very convenient for getting to and from Narita and also Tokyo station. Rooms are ENORMOUS by Japan standards. Great overall location and experience! "

"This is my second stay in this hotel. We enjoy our stay at Mimaru Ikebukuro, kids are so happy, rooms are cozy and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. During our stay, there was some Halloween theme mini games for kids to play, they quite enjoy it. ^o^"

"Very handy location for 2 stations, big metro and JR lines. Lawson opposite the hotel but loads of shopping and eateries close by. 10min walk to Ueno park for the zoo. Room was very spacious and laundry detergent provided for the in room washing machine which is handy as we travelled with hand luggage only so needed to do wash. Would defo recommend for families. We arrived at 2pm which is too early for the 3pm check in but they were happy to hold onto our bags and were in our rooms when we did...
