"This is a genuine treasure. Set back a little behind the main road, it is a haven of peace and charm. There is a wonderful seating area both inside and out, Tea and coffee are available throughout the day should you need it. The rooms have beautiful views of the mountains, the place is beautifully decorated and designed. It is well placed for visits to the surrounding area which is stunning. Our advice would be to try both restaurants on the main road for the evening meal as they offer different...

"We were checked in by the proprietor. He was a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area and his history of the restored home is very interesting. The renovated home has been in the family since the 1990s We would definitely stay here again. We like boutique accommodation with history and this fit the bill. Can’t tell you what breakfast was like as we left early to get on our hike before the temperature got to hot!"

"We knew that the hotel was a historic building, but quite honestly everything inside was more than historic and just old and completely dated. To start with the walls are pretty thin, there's no real place to put your luggage & the bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. In our case, the TV and the room phone ( looked like from the 1950s ) did not work and we were given a replacement remote which also did not work. Although the location is very conveniant , it may be worth spending a bit more...
