Room was not clean and no new towels tell I call the front office to ask why my room was not cleaned that day. Was told that room was only clean at the 3rd day. What kind of hotel only service room on the 3rd day. I was not told that when I checked in. My room was next to a Main Street and there was to much noise. Would not recommend to anyone going to salt lake.

Hyatt Place policy is to do a light touch up after the second night. IE third day. However as I stated all we need is a request and we can service the room at any point during your stay. Expedia pricing sucked. I reserved room in October when prices were $50 plus taxes higher. When I arrived at the hotel I discovered the walk-in rate was $50 lower. I did not know I had to put in for a lower rate the night before with Expedia. I could not get my deserved refund from the hotel because I went through Expedia. The hotel’s policy is to price match. Lesson learned. Get your hotel reservation directly with the hotel, not Expedia or Travelocity. The hotel provides better customer service. I will not go thru Expedia again. I do have options and I will use them.

Room furniture was in poor condition. There was construction in the lobby. It was so noisy from the trax systems, very load in our room.

I didn’t know the hotel was under renovation. I had booked here when my prior booking advised that they were under renovation. It would have been nice to have been alerted prior to arrival, especially given the rate we paid. No body lotion provided. Construction team should start work after the breakfast time so customers can relax during their meal.

This is our "home away from home" when visiting Salt Lake to see our specialist at Primary Children's hospital. Hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants, malls and the famous "Temple Square."

This hotel was perfect. We were in town for a couple nights to watch the Utah Jazz. It was perfect. The breakfast was really good. And complimentary tea was clutch.

Housekeepers were about the only friendly staff here with the exception of one front desk attendant. Everyone seemed inconvienced for simple things like needing to check in to your room. Also, if you’re choosing this location because it has an onsite bar and restaurant - choose a different hotel. The “restaurant” is a bar top connected to the check-in desk and options are pretty limited for food and drinks. While they have plenty of liquor options, they do not have a true bartender that is knowledgeable about mixing, I asked for a Margarita and the attendant did not know how to make one. There are nearby restaurants, but the nearby area is under a lot of construction and it’s not super easy to navigate. Also, the closest restaurant that actually looked decent within walking distance does not open until 5 PM daily. The housekeepers were extremely friendly, and the property did appear well taken care of, albeit very old and outdated.

Nice room, great breakfast. We didn’t use the hot tub or pool so I have no opinion on that. The lobby was kind of small and loud during the day but other than that, it was great.

What made my stay was how fantastic the customer service was from everyone I interacted with. the front desk staff went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great and comfortable stay. Not only was there complimentary breakfast, but it was tasty and fresh! I’d recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Liked the location since it was close to what we were doing. Didn't like that the hot tub was not working since I booked here for the hot tub. It also doesn't tell you that it is outside. This would have made it unusable since a winter storm blew in
