Excellent sustainability and environmental values, but receptionists seldom are friendly or say hello and one sent me on a 2 hour walk to the local pharmacies on a day when she should have known it was a holiday and all were shut.

Omg this hotel is a gem!!! I have nothing ad to say. Rooms I paid so little to get the bigger room which is so clean and comfortable. The hotel has good vibe, not luxurious but cool and cozy. I wish i could try the restaurant but our schedule was tight. Location It is perfect for public transportation and walkable to the old town. Forget about dragging our luggages up and down. The hotel is so close to the station with no steps and stairs, just right across with no noise at night. Haupbahnof there is relatively clean and not busy at all. Facility The restaurant looks so cute and relax. You need to try breakfast there. Checkin and out is smooth as silk. Just press the bell and someone will come help. Storage room is so well equipped. I cannot believe i paid this price for Salzburg. So so worth it.

The hotel is no-frills but stylish. Friendly personnel, comfortable beds and convenient location. Would have loved a swing seat like is pictured and a small table/desk would be practice, but those are minor points. We'll book again!

The room design was fantastic & relaxing, and the room was super clean. Also the staff were friendly. The hotel is in walkable location to the historic centre and very close to the train station.

2 minute walk from main train station and easy 15 minute walk to old town. Really close to sound of music botanical garden/ park! Staff was so pleasant and easy to communicate with! Room was spacious and clean, shower was amazing! Awesome breakfast buffet and taco bar. Vibes are all around great :) would stay again!!

Fabelhaftes Frühstück, wunderschönes Hotel mit einem tollen Konzept! Ein Highlight war das sehr bequeme Bett. Wir haben für unseren 6- tägigen Aufenthalt zweimal die Zimmerreinigung gewünscht, die leider lediglich im Austauschen und Auffüllen von Handtüchern und Toilettenpapier bestand (Waschbecken/Toilette Säubern nicht). Dennoch war das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Location was great. Bus loop is right outside. Easy access. Rooms were good. No iron, threw me off my game. Our shower was clogged. Flood the entire bathroom. The minute they knew there was no maintenance on Saturday our room should have been changed. We got a room change on our last couple of hours. Staff was great though.

Hotel is convenient walk to/from the train station. It is a 20 minute walk to get to Old center of town on other side of the river. The hotel is basic. It did have a large tub which i enjoyed as well as a separate shower..

The Cocoon Salzburg was a very nice hotel to stay at, especially with their environmentally-friendly approach. Staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was great (and semi-affordable at 18.90). The close proximity to the train station was great too, and the city was a 15-minute walk. The reason for 4/5 stars is that although there was AC, it remained pretty warm in the room even when the temperature was supposed to be 18 degrees. Also, if you are a light sleeper in terms of light sensitivity - make sure to bring a sleeping mask!

The property is not bad and location is next to the main train station. However the hotel does not have AC. It was 85F outside and we just couldnt sleep for 3 nights. Being next to train station, you cant sleep with windows open. I realized on 3rd day that hotel doesnt have AC and it was unbearably hot. Hotel staff provided a standing fan! Fan does not cool down air, it only circulates it. You cant stay in this hotel in summers. It is hard to imagine that how they are expecting people to tolerate heat.

The hotel was nice, good Location and the staff was helpful but the room was small and had the minimal accessories to attempt to stay in the room. There was no coffee, cups, glasses… they had a kettle and a jug of water downstairs for the whole hotel. The breakfast was small and they charge $18, not worth it. There was no lobby just a sofa and a couple of chairs on the side.

Wifi connection was very poor. Room was clean and aesthetic but very limited. There was no fridge and lighting was limited. Bed was ok but pillows are not the comfiest. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel close to the train station and close to main attractions. Overall it was a pleasant stay but nothing special.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, im Hotel Cocoon in Salzburg zu übernachten und war von Anfang bis Ende beeindruckt. Die Zimmer sind nicht nur super modern, sondern strahlen auch ein einzigartiges, futuristisches Design aus, das mich sofort in seinen Bann gezogen hat. Das Konzept des Hotels ist durchdacht und verleiht dem Aufenthalt eine besondere Note. Die Auswahl an Cocktails an der Bar war fantastisch und die Qualität ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das freundliche Personal trug ebenfalls dazu bei, dass ich mich rundum wohl fühlte. Jede Frage wurde prompt und zuvorkommend beantwortet, was meinen Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, nur wenige Gehminuten von den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Ich schätzte auch die Möglichkeit, mein Auto im nahegelegenen Parkhaus F1 Forum sicher zu parken, obwohl die Gebühr von 16€ pro Tag etwas hoch war. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel Cocoon jedem empfehlen, der nach einem einzigartigen und angenehmen Aufenthalt in Salzburg sucht. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen!

Very good place to stay at while visitig Salzburg. All the major attractions are in walking distance and if you need to use public transport it’s a one minute walk to all major lines! Highly recommend this Hotel.

The hotel was amazing and just a small walk from the train and bus station . Staff were lovely and everything was clean . My only complaint was the air con - the room was stuffy no matter what temp we put it on so we ended up turning it off and opening the window but it was still rather warm.

we enjoyed our short stay at Cocoon. we saved some money by parking across the street at the train station. the room was a little bit warm and no AC but it was easily fixed by opening the windows. will come back!
