"The staff was fantastic! The person checking us in and the person who we checked out with we're both so friendly and accommodating. Cannot say enough about the staff. The room was very clean and simple, but for the price we felt it was a great value. Would recommend this to anyone, especially a band on your looking for a cheap and awesome motel while staying in Bellingham."

"Nice hotel, convenient location. A fair amount of open air drug use and associated activities on the nearby sidewalk. It’s not the fault of the hotel and they have security. You will notice it while walking to meals. "
"Good hotel for a quick stop. Right near the highway, but still only about a 15 minute walk to downtown Bellingham. The hotel is dated, nothing super luxurious, but it's clean and safe. "Pros- This was a really nice place to stay for sea feast weekend. Located right off the freeway with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. (although I take the car plenty of disabled parking available. Unfortunately, the disabled rooms were not available so I ended up in the standard room which I knew in advance. "The la Quinta in Bellingham was a wonderful respite at the end of a very long drive. We arrived late and had no problems with checking in or rooms and there were several of us. We tested the pool and hot tub the next day and were very pleased. The hot tub, was actually hot and comfortable. They are usually barely warm. If I am back in town, I shall put this hotel at the top of my list."
