"Beautiful and quiet. The chef is amazing and our dinner was delicious. The manager/waiter was not so pleasant. I think it may have been a language barrier issue as we don’t speak Italian and he doesn’t speak English and he didn’t have much patience for translating. We also found the men who checked us in were not very welcoming. For such a beautiful hotel the front desk people should be much more welcoming. "We really loved our stay here - not sure why the reviews are so bad. The farmhouse has been renovated and is gorgeous - you have a bedroom with another bed on a mezzanine for the kids. The rooms are clean and have aircon (thank goodness... it was 35 degrees :-)) There's parking right in front of your room and a big pool and pool area to use - if I understand correctly there is a small charge to use the pool but we were out every day until late so it didnt apply.
