A little dated and could use some cleaning in the lobby areas but great place to stay and friendly staff make it worth it.

The area did not appear to be very safe. A lot of people walking around that appeared to not be guest of the hotel in the parking lot.

The room was not clean at all the shower curtain had stains and stuff on it. Bathtub was dirty. Whole room had a dirty smell to it. Lobby and hallway floors were filthy.

The property needs major upgrades and rentivations. There were patched holes in the wall and paint all over the floor and toilet in the bathroom. The food and selection for breakfast was horrible. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the other room and hallway. We booked a king size room 20 minutes before arriving and was told they didn't have any king rooms. I will not stay at this property again.

When you can hear a conversation plain as day the people in the room right next door is having that’s really bad! We could hear all the people in the hallway! I won’t stay at another clarion if that’s the quality you offer

I like the indoor pool & hot-tub, but unfortunetly the water was cold on this last visit. You couldn't get in the hot-tub and the big pool was cool but bareable.

Hotel is in a decent location. Has indoor pool and Hot Tub. Hot Tub however is broke. When front desk was asked about it they replied it has been broken for awhile and can not get anyone to come fix it? Breakfast is okay not as advertised. The juice station is out of order? Eggs cold no sausage. Did have biscuit and gravy and cold cereal. There is a guy making mini omelette and waffles. Check out front desk clerk could not be found. When someone finally showed up for there shift. She stated managers don’t show up on the weekends so the front desk help disappears and we could not get a receipt which is needed for business expenses. Beds are comfortable and rooms clean parking being enough to hold trailers of your traveling with one.

Overall a below average experience. Aged property that needs to be updated. Knocking on our door a 8:00am stating that they thought we had checked out. Noncarpted halls were very loud. Breakfast, very below average.

We had to move rooms due to the heater/ac was broken plus no volume on the television. The cable cord in one elevator was so loud that you can hear the noise in the rooms. The hot tub was broken. Moved to a different room with drain broken in the tub and hot pink nail polish soillled all over the bathroom floor.

Room 124 is dark the lighting was so very poor I went to the front desk. She was very nice and the bed side lamp was a little brighter. However, the bathrm was so dark I went to the lounge to apply makeup. On that point it has not had a deep clean in a very long time. The grout was filthy, dust on the towel racks, tub anti slip mat almost black needless to say, no shower for me. Carpet worn. Tiny single window with the wrong size drape. The bedding was crisp, clean and puffy. Front desk was great during the evening. AM woman seemed like I was bothering her when I asked for a key at 10:00 because I was locked out. Ran out of coffee in the lobby at check out. Please see that maintenance is out of the way with trash etc. before check-in hrs. house keeping were very pleasant on the occasion of passing by. I don't know if the bar is yours but it was under staffed and too loud. Thank you, I do plan on returning, because of the staff and the bed.

Everything is perfect except for the air conditioner in room 323. It’s incredibly loud and doesn’t seem to be working right. Also, the bar is supposed to stay open until 2 AM. They closed well before 12AM.

Promotion of property on Expedia is false. We selected two room king suite on Expedia. When we arrived at property, there are NO suites even built into the building. We were stuck with sub-par king room. Expedia listing boasts “onsite restaurant”, yet there is not a restaurant at the facility either.

One night stay
I was impressed with how nice and clean the hotel and room assigned was. Only issue was the AC was broken in our initial room. Called front desk and they moved us into another room. So thumbs up to the staff for accommodating us for the night.

The room was nice and staff were great but the breakfast needs work. They ran out of juice and rather than refill it they said they weren't going to fill it until tomorrow. Other than this it was alright.

We booked this hotel based on the previous reviews, indoor pool for the kids and it being pet friendly. We got there, walked in with the dog and checked in. When we left to have dinner, our dog was whining a little bit. 4 minutes later I get a call from the hotel saying that we couldn’t leave him there to go get dinner(mind you - dog friendly places to eat in San Angelo are very limited). She also said she had to charge us extra for him. Why didn’t she mention that upon check in? So we get our food to go and come back to the hotel. Decided to go down to the indoor pool. One of my kids stayed in the room since we weren’t allowed to leave the dog. No matter - the chemicals in the pool area were so strong that they were burning my eyes the moment I walked in. Couldn’t even stand getting in the water. The mattress was sunken in and so uncomfortable. The tub was moldy, areas around the ice machines were disgusting and the breakfast was awful. Juice machine wasn’t working, sausage was cold, very limited options.

Cat litter in the room from previous guest. Waited 15 min at the front desk and no one showed up. Needed towels and had to go to the pool area to get them. Tub drain clogged. Left message since no one was available at the desk-my message was returned 11 hours later. Phone in the room didn’t work. Charged me extra fees that I thought were included in my initial booking and prepay for my stay. No one called me to tell me about the pet fee that I thought was included and just charged my credit card. Supposed to get a refund on this but have yet to see it.

The staff were super friendly. My kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast there. My son forgot his tablet in the lobby when we checked out and the staff found it and called me to inform us. Which we were grateful!!

Almost perfect unless you are Physically Disabled
I called the night before and asked if the pool lift worked. I was coming with 2 people with disabilities and we wanted to swim. also, we would need a stool in the tub/shower we needed 2 beds and needed the stool in a non handicapped room Staff was great, When we checked in reception staff said she would be up soon to check for shower stool and It was present. The lift was another story The directions to use it were worn off we called desk for help no one know how to operate it. we were able to get my friend in the door but only with a lot of assistance was she able to get out The need a folder or something to explain operations and the sticker explaining operations needs to be replaced
