If your a Star Wars aficionado you'll love this out of the way and hard to get to spot.
When you first site it from afar it looks like a set of a distant planet rising above the plain. You don't see a lot of instagramer's, here due to the rough terrain. Next time I plan to stay the night.
Tip: it is very slow going (5miles) from paved highway on a very rutted gravel road, a good part of the pinnacles is nearly impassable with OUT 4wd. Be prepared. There is a out house and nothing else.

"Stayed on Floor 5, used the Laundry on Floor 3 and visited friend on Floor 2, ALL the Hall Carpets are in need of cleaning. They are stained dirty and all needed attention. I stay here often, Staff is always accommodating and parking lot is lit up very well and I always feel safe. La Quinta has done upgrades and remodeling over the years but should have done the bath/showers during bathroom remodel, they shouldn't have skimped!! Showers old and stained."
