"Great proximity to Poas Volcano! Beautiful view and cozy room. The bathtub did not get very hot, but probably just due to its large size. The property is very well-maintained and breakfast was delicious! Also helpful and friendly staff (including Coco, the large white fluffy dog). I wish we stayed longer!"

"This was our second time staying here and we love this place! Staff is very helpful, and made the effort to communicate with us, using our very limited Spanish. Trees and flowers are beautiful here. Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. We love staying in this place and know that the staff takes great pride in keeping the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and providing excellent service."

"aOur room view was looking out to a pile of junk, a makeshift shack! Room is way outdated, carpet needs to e replaced! Pool was filthy , had a greasy film layer on the water. Location is not near much!"

The downtown location made for a perfect central base for getting out and exploring all of Costa Rica with an agency right across the street for booking tour guided excursions. "Loved the property. Great amenities such as pool, buffet breakfast, bar, walking distance to restaurants in close proximity. Shuttle to and from the airport was included and a great benefit when landing in San Jose. Room could accommodate a longer stay with kitchenware, fridge, dishwasher, and cooking surface."
