Hotel is GREAT...quiet, clean and we enjoyed the convenience of walking to Golden Gate Park, specifically the Japanese Tea House and garden. There is also public transportation near by. The Munimetro and MuniElectric bus are both great options depending on where you are headed and how fast you need to be there. Definitely make some time to explore the neighborhood, great dining options with cafes nearby.( Cole Valley Tavern ) worth a visit.There is a Whole Foods a block over, where you can purchase and/or add money to your clipper card. Hotel itself is nice and quite. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was eonderful and all you need to start your day. I loved the managrrs gathering from 5:00-7:00. Great wine and a variety of snacks available.

The carpet in the room was heavily stained and there was hair in the shower at check in. The front desk was not overly helpful or welcoming. The free breakfast was very basic and the yogurt refrigerator was barely cold making the yogurt too questionable for eating. The bed was small for two but very comfortable.

Location is perfect across the street from Golden Gate Park. We also used public transportation to go to waterfront and it was very convenient. This is a boutique hotel with refurbished old building; very clean and in good taste.

We enjoyed our stay over Easter Weekend. Convenient to family who lives near by. One very small complaint though. The 1/2 &1/2 creamer was spoiled for our coffee. They need to keep it on ice. Had to throw out 3 cups of coffee because of spoilage.

Awesome and walkable neighborhood. The street is very quiet at night. Parking can be tricky but be patient, look in the neighborhoods close by, and be willing to walk a bit and it’s not a big deal.

The polite and helpful service. The room was clean and so was the bath. There was a smell of smoke from the restaurant next door but wasn’t bad for us. Very little noise from the street or the other guests. Awesome stay.

This property is a 10 minute walk from the hospital, UCSF. Lots of restaurants, a Whole Foods, a Walgreens. A huge beautiful park across the street. The staff was very helpful in relocating my room. The first room was very noisy due to construction. I was there to recover from surgery and they were very compassionate.

The Stanyan Park Hotel staff are personable, professional and happy to assist me. Their assistance and service exceed my expectations. And the gorgeous Victorian Hotel is right across the street from the stunning Golden Gate Park!

This was a really comfortable and safe small classic hotel with a very nice, helpful staff (especially Michelle!). It's good to have the breakfast options and afternoon snack options, too. The location is awesome for walking along the park, Whole Foods is a block away and even the fellow guests were friendly.

Great place to stay, staff was awesome, hotel/room were clean. Good quality hotel. The only bad thing was that the room was a little too warm (February). We kept the window open which help.

We stayed at a family suite; the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent. However, our suite faced Waller Street, not the park, and there was a big construction site on Waller Street. I was disappointed; I booked Stanyan Park because it was right across the street from Golden Gate Park, but I could see was the construction site. The building is old, so we could hear steps upstairs and the talking next door. The toilet could not fill the water tank by itself, so we had to prepare a bucket of water to fill the tank.

Thanks Shaowen for the feedback. Our hotel is dated over 120 years in service as a turn of the 1900's but rooms are clean and secure. Yes unfortunately, a new apartment complex is being built a block over from the hotel but the main frame is completed. Our hotel team is on site 24 hours so sorry if you had water tank issues as we could have easily fixed it. Hope you visit to SF was a success. Safe Travels, Bill Engelhardt - General Manager
